Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Composites, Polymers, or Chemistry, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or no experience required with a related PhD or JD.Job DescriptionYou will be the Materials & Processes Engineer Stf - Composites - Level 4 for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for advancing composite manufacturing capabilities.What You Will Be DoingAs the Materials & Processes Engineer Stf - Composites - Level 4 you will be responsible for applying composite material engineering principles to enable manufacturing and research & development of composite parts, including fiber‑reinforced organic matrix materials and processes such as hand lay‑up, Automated Fiber Placement (AFP), and Resin Transfer Molding (RTM).“Your responsibilities will include:”Interface with internal teams and suppliers on technical issues related to composite raw materials, new processes, and manufacturing plans.Develop and execute composite research and qualification plans, including process development and material characterization.Author and maintain composite material and process specifications and advise on material/process selection.Participate in structural lay‑outs, design reviews, and non‑conformance disposition and corrective‑action processes.Provide direct M&P support to assembly and fabrication operations and deliver technical presentations.What’s In It For YouWe are committed to supporting your work‑life balance and overall well‑being, offering flexible scheduling options.
