Performing Arts CompaniesRooming and Boarding Houses, Dormitories, and Workers' CampsDrycleaning and Laundry ServicesVocational Rehabilitation ServicesChild Care ServicesResponsibilitiesSpecifically, you will take ownership of the following:Perform and complete alterations according to Indochino’s guidelines and service standardsProvide sound advice on the product, calculating lead times to ensure the customer’s expectations are accurately managedStrong knowledge of garment fitting, fabrics, styling, manufacturing techniques, garment construction and men’s suitingCustomer-centric approach, understanding and showing enthusiasm for the product and brandPress, steam, and spot clean garments/merchandise as necessaryFollow quality control guidelines and garment inspectionMeet or exceed required productivity levels (300+ units a month at a minimum is expected) and ensure every request is responded to in a timely mannerComplete any rush orders, special requests and escalated situationsMaintain an accurate record of alterations completed, utilizing the tools providedCoordinate alterations completed by Alterations vendor and work with them to resolve any potential issueCultivate customer relationships to create loyalty and foster brand ambassadorsIdentify and communicate possible quality discrepancies, both from factory and from vendorsAssist with customer fittings during high traffic situations at the Showroom at Manager’s discretionEducate customers and Showroom personnel on proper fitting techniquesResolve alterations customer service issues or complaints and escalate unresolved situations as appropriateEnsure preventative maintenance of equipment and report any damage or broken equipment immediatelyCommunicate supply needs to the Alterations Specialist to ensure all supplies are available at all timesRequirementsHigh level of applied tailoring skillsKnowledge and ability to complete all alterations needed in store.Ability to bridge communication between Showroom staff and tailorsAbility to multi-task, prioritize and work within tight deadlinesStrong desire and aptitude to develop, learn and grow through hands-on experienceProficiency in Word, Excel or Google Docs is a definite assetA strong design sense and trend awareness across all fieldsPrevious experience in Fashion Retail an advantageAbility to communicate clearly and interact with customers and coworkers in a personable, professional mannerHigh level of ownership, accountability and initiativeFlexibility to work retail schedules such as weekends, evenings, and holidaysDesire to work in a fast-paced environment guided by iterative learning and team engagement.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skillsAbility to move throughout the store, lift up to 10 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, stand, and reach with armsWhy Work At IndochinoGrowth Opportunities: Gain valuable leadership experience in an entry-level management role with opportunities to advance within the company.Collaborative Environment: Work alongside talented and passionate team members who support each other to succeed.Impactful Work: Contribute to a growing retail department and help shape the future of Indochino.Customer Focused: Join a company that values exceptional service and empowers its team to deliver unforgettable experiences.Compensation Range: $30.00
