YSI is committed to serve its business communities as a leading IT vendor providing innovative, quality, and cost-effective IT business solutions and services.We offer a competitive benefits package that includes the following: 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, training, and professional development assistance.YSI is seeking a Research Analyst to assist in the Business Development Department/Capture.The Research Analyst’s Primary Responsibilities Would IncludeMonitoring federal procurement websites and contract vehicle portals for new opportunitiesReviewing opportunity notices for relevance to the company’s capabilitiesCollecting key information such as agency, contract vehicle, NAICS code, due dates, set-aside status, scope summary, and submission requirementsEntering and updating opportunity records in the company CRMFlagging relevant opportunities for Business Development and Capture reviewMaintaining organized records of sourced opportunitiesSupporting basic pipeline reporting as needed.Recommended Minimum Qualifications IncludeStrong attention to detailBasic research and data entry skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office toolStrong written communication skillsThe ability to manage recurring tasks and deadlines.Familiarity with SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, GovWin, FPDS, or CRM systems would be helpful but should not be required for this entry-level role.Location: Herndon, VA (YSI Headquarters) (Onsite)Salary: $50,000 and $60,000.US Citizenship or Green card holder YSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
