Responsibilities: - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service - Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation - Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and dining area - Process payments and handle cash transactions Skills: - Basic math skills for handling payments and making change - Proficiency in food handling and safety procedures - Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience - Knowledge of guest services principles to ensure guest satisfaction - Familiarity with food preparation techniques and presentation standards - Understanding of the food industry, including menu items and ingredients - Experience using Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus - Ability to build positive guest relations through friendly and professional interactions Note: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the Server position.
