Network Engineer

OverviewWe are looking for a Network Administrator / Engineer to lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of a multi-site IT infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of servers, networks, cloud services, telecommunications systems, and virtualization environments. The ideal candidate is highly technical, hands-on, and capable of supporting both infrastructure projects and day-to-day operational needs across multiple locations.This position sits onsite on Skid Row with light travel to other locations.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support enterprise network, server, and virtualization environments.Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory administration.Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and VoIP systems.Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, security, and endpoint protection.Implement automation solutions to improve IT efficiency and service delivery.Support data protection, backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.Manage VMware virtual machine environments.Configure and support SonicWall firewalls, Cisco networking equipment, and UniFi wireless infrastructure.Provide advanced troubleshooting for desktop applications, networking, internet connectivity, voice, and video systems.Assist with IT onboarding/offboarding activities, account provisioning, and access control systems.Support audio/visual technology and conference room systems.Maintain hardware and software inventories and documentation.Lead infrastructure projects and communicate progress to leadership in a timely manner.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering experience.Strong experience with:Microsoft 365 AdministrationAzure Active Directory (Entra ID)Exchange OnlineSharePoint OnlineMicrosoft Teams AdministrationVMwareCisco networkingSonicWall firewallsWireless networkingExperience supporting multi-site enterprise environments.Knowledge of infrastructure security, cybersecurity best practices, and data governance.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.Preferred QualificationsCCNA certification or equivalent networking expertise.Experience with ConnectWise Automate.Experience with VoIP systems such as RingCentral.Experience supporting surveillance, access control, and physical security infrastructure.
