Spanish Interpreter

Overview We are seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating communication between parties who speak Spanish and English with accuracy and confidentiality in all interpretations. Interpreters must live around these areas : Responsibilities - Interpret spoken communication from one language to another - Fluent in spanish and English - Provide interpretation services in various settings such as medical appointments, - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of behavior and ethics - Review and assist with documentation as needed Skills - Proficiency in multiple languages with a focus on Spanish and english. - Basic Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Strong communication skills to convey messages accurately - Ability to interpret American Sign Language is a plus - Must be Professional and Punctual Job Type: Freelance Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week Schedule: On call Experience: Interpretation: 1 year (Preferred) Language: spanish and English fluently (Required) Ability to Commute: New York, NY (Required) Ability to Relocate: New York, NY: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
