The ideal candidate is a Network Engineer who is proficient with the fundamentals, and eager to grow your skills on a global network. You're a motivated pragmatic thinker, eager to get the job done while finding a balance between shipping and quality with a:RESPONSIBILITIES:Help to define configuration and architecture standardsContribute to the qualification of new platformsProvisioning of network devices in corporate offices and POPs as per documented proceduresProvisioning and management of corporate circuitsContribute to the continuous improvement of configuration standards and operational proceduresContribute to the continuous improvement of corporate device monitoringLiaise with third parties, IT and remote office users to fix and resolve issuesCreation and execution of scheduled changes, process & documentationParticipate in the on call rotationMaintaining and upgrading existing systems, firmware updates and configurationsMonitoring network performance and ensuring system availability and reliabilityTroubleshooting: Analyzing and resolving network hardware and software problemsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Basic understanding of BGP configuration and managementBasic knowledge of backbone and datacenter networksWorking understanding of wireless technologiesWorking knowledge of at least one internal routing protocol, its configuration and day to day operationWorking knowledge of corporate networkingWorking knowledge of TCP/IPWorking knowledge of remote accessStrong documentation and communication skill setPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Familiarity with the following:Multiple networking vendors, such as Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, AristaRemote AccessNetwork security and NACScripting and automation of network operations activitiesITAR REQUIREMENTS:To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
