We are seeking a Radio Systems Technician to join our field team. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical installation, programming, and maintenance of mission-critical VHF/UHF communication systems.From working on large-scale construction sites to performing high-end vehicle integrations, you will ensure our clients' networks are reliable and high-performing. This role is perfect for a technician who loves being in the field, traveling to new locations, and working with top-tier equipment from Motorola, Tait, and Kenwood.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Installation: Perform hands-on installation of VHF/UHF radio infrastructure, including repeaters, base stations, antennas, and cabling.Vehicle Integration: Install and configure mobile radio hardware across various vehicle fleets, ensuring professional-grade wiring and mounting.Technical Programming: Program and tune handheld and mobile radios using manufacturer-specific software (Motorola, Tait, Kenwood, etc.).Construction Site Support: Work effectively within active, large-scale construction environments, following all technical blueprints and safety protocols.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve RF interference, hardware failures, and connectivity issues in the field.Testing: Utilize RF testing equipment (wattmeters, service monitors, etc.) to verify system performance and coverage.Qualifications & RequirementsTechnical Background: 13+ years of experience with LMR (Land Mobile Radio) or VHF/UHF systems.
