Job DescriptionExciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Occupational Therapist OT in the San Bernadino County area.PediaStaff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. Our team-oriented approach ensures you have the resources and collaboration needed to thrive in your role.Qualifications:Specific Degree in Occupational therapySpecific license: CA Occupational Therapy LicenseExperience with Children and School experience preferredRole Overview:As an OT, you will support students in school settings by assessing their needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions to help them succeed academically, socially, and physically. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.Job Details:Schedule: School Daytime Hours (could vary, but between 7: 30am-4: 30pm (approx 7.5 hours)Dates: ASAP to 6.16.26Hours: 37.5 per weekSetting: SchoolsCaseload: 4-5 students sometimes less at each school. Floating between 8 schools per weekIn-person onlyKey Responsibilities:Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
