Job Description Job Opportunity: Traditional Inpatient and Outpatient Primary Care / HospitalistWe are excited to announce an opening for a Traditional Inpatient and Outpatient primary care physician in Houma, Louisiana, situated approximately 50 miles south of New Orleans. This position is part of a community-focused practice that includes both an outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding, aimed at enhancing healthcare services in the area.Practice Overview:We are looking for a board-certified or eligible Internist or Family Medicine physician.Daily responsibilities will include both outpatient and inpatient coverage.This role offers a teaching opportunity, as you will collaborate with Internal Medicine medical students.The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage on a 1:12 rotation.No ICU responsibilities are required, although performing procedures is an option if desired.Some physicians choose to reside in New Orleans and commute to work.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive guaranteed salary starting at $275K (negotiable for experienced candidates).Sign-on bonus available.Relocation assistance provided.Comprehensive health benefits included.Retirement plan options.Health Savings Account (HSA) available.Malpractice insurance covered.Potential eligibility for student loan forgiveness.About Houma, Louisiana:Houma is conveniently located just 50 miles south of New Orleans, making it an accessible location for many healthcare professionals.
