It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.The Process Engineer (PE) is a critical member of Creation's Engineering Team and subject matter expert (SME) in equipment and methods of manufacturing circuit card assembly (CCA) and/or box assembly. The PE understands and executes equipment selection, performance, maintenance, and validation. PE will work in collaboration to analyze and resolve a variety of technical issues related to quality and manufacturing. The PE will ensure equipment utilization to its capabilities and optimizes performance. This position directly reports to the Process Engineering Leader.DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, configure and optimize industrial processesInterface with the Project Engineers, Production Associates, Process Engineers and Management to achieve the following:Improved efficiency (Performance to Standard, Turn around time, Changeover time)High first pass yields (SMT, TH)Best quality (DPMO)Work on continuous improvement of the processes on the production floor to improve quality and cycle time by focusing on:Defect data analysisAssembly tools and fixturesAutomation of processes and equipmentElimination of redundant and non-value-added operationsOptimizing the product flowProactively pursue better methods and/or new technologies in order to assist the customer in improving the product design and enabling Creation to produce a better product, cost effectivelyKey focus on surface mount assembly equipment including pick and place, printing and reflow to enhance equipment performance, support the operators in on-going process improvement and trainingQUALIFICATIONS:Process Expert in the area of SMT or Wave solderingMinimum 5 years of Process Engineering experience or equivalent direct technical support of an electronics assembly processKnowledge of Process control methodologies (SPC, Cp, Cpk,)Process Expert in one or more of SMT, Wave soldering, and Mechanical AssemblyMust have excellent communication skills, technical writing abilities, analytical skills, be a team player and able to make independent decisions related to the job functionAt least four years of manufacturing experience in electronic manufacturing with a focus on SMT or Wave solderingKnowledge of IPC documentationKnowledge of Six sigma and lean manufacturingIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the target salary range is $105,000 - $115,000/year depending on experience.If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!Creation Technologies is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
