QA/Cx Engineer
Position: QA/Cx EngineerReports to: QA/Cx Engineering ManagerLocation: Columbus, OhioSalary Range: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour (Eligible for Overtime)We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.Superior is looking for a QA/Cx Engineer who will support the field and project operations team through commissioning planning and execution. This role focuses on developing and reviewing methods of procedure (MOPs), supporting lockout/tagout (LOTO) planning, and ensuring systems are prepared for safe and efficient energization. The position is based on a job site in Columbus, Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesCreates energization and electrical performance methods and procedures (MOPs)Support LOTO planning and energized work coordinationLead portions of pre-energization readiness reviewsIdentify and communicate risks related to startup and system integrationTrack commissioning progress and support issue resolutionSupport quality assurance and commissioning efforts at project sitesCollaborate with manufacturers, distributors, and testing partnersInterface with owner and construction managers to address technical questions and remediate issuesYour Character TraitsYou’re highly organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detailYou’re a great communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organizationYou have a customer-focused mentalityYour ExpertiseRequired: You have experience in the design, construction, and installation of building electrical systemsRequired: You have experience in quality control, testing, and commissioning of electrical systemsRequired: You have strong technical understanding of medium and low voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and redundant power systemsRequired: You have experience with NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70E and other applicable codes and standardsBonus Points: You have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringOur BenefitsWe offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of Superior.
