Utility III

In the Utility Role, you will assist an extrusion operator in the entire process of producing plastic sheet product to customer specifications per established production and quality standards.Ability to learn, understand, and follow all operational and quality standards.Ability to correctly identify all raw materials in both the work-in process and the pre-staged areas.Maintain accurate identification of all generated materials and containers.Maintain adequate levels of support materials, such as but not limited to, skids, polyfilm, cores, etc.Correctly and accurately tag and package finished product.Mix raw materials as specified on the production orders.Maintain cleanliness of work area to ensure a safe, non-contaminated workplace.Able to adjust to continued change and handle additional tasks as assigned.Ability to regularly stand; walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl use hands, fingers, reach with arms and to sit, climb or balance.Ability to regularly lift and or move 10 to 20 pounds, not exceeding 50 pounds and tip rolls up to 250 pounds.Able to work 7:00PM to 7:00AM Monday - Thursday Shift. RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)Minimum of two years’ experience in Manufacturing EnvironmentsExcellent AttendanceExcellent Safety Record,Comfortable with required PPE including hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets, and safety shoes.
