Operator/Locator/CDL Driver

We are committed to providing a paid position that values safety, technical skill, and proactive problem-solving. *Duties* * Operate heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications * Conduct utility locating using specialized equipment to identify underground utilities and prevent service disruptions or accidents during excavation * Maintain and perform routine inspections on construction machinery and equipment to ensure optimal safety and functionality * Drive commercial trucks with a valid CDL license to transport materials, equipment, and personnel between job sites * Assist with excavation activities, grading, and site preparation tasks following construction plans and safety procedures * Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to ensure a secure work environment * Support construction utility work by accurately marking underground utilities and coordinating with site teams for safe excavation operations *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL license * Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting * Skilled in utility locating techniques using modern tools and technology * Extensive construction site experience with familiarity in excavation, grading, and utility work * Ability to operate loaders, backhoes (including Caterpillar equipment), excavators, water trucks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently * Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to safety regulations at all times * Excellent understanding of equipment safety procedures, construction grading standards, and site-specific protocols * Mechanical aptitude for performing routine maintenance on construction machinery to minimize downtime * Ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute their technical skills in a fast-paced construction setting.
