Job Title: Estimator (Drywall Construction)Location: Scottsdale, AZEmployment Type: Direct Hire (Permanent)Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 annually + bonus opportunitiesAbout the OpportunityAddison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Estimator to join a growing drywall construction team. This position is open due to business expansion and offers the opportunity to work closely with a long-tenured estimator while helping scale operations into new markets.This is an on-site role based in Scottsdale, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is ready to contribute immediately.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed cost estimates for drywall projects across residential, commercial, and multifamily sectorsAnalyze blueprints and specifications to complete accurate material and labor takeoffsUtilize estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff) to prepare competitive bidsCoordinate with internal support staff to manage bid submissions and documentationBuild and maintain relationships with builders, developers, and industry partnersProactively follow up on submitted bids and identify new project opportunitiesContribute to growth efforts in expanding project types beyond residential workQualificationsMinimum 5 years of estimating experience focused on drywall (10+ years strongly preferred)Background working on residential and/or commercial construction projectsProficiency with On-Screen Takeoff (OST)Established relationships within the Arizona construction marketStrong knowledge of drywall scope, pricing, and project executionWhat We're Looking ForSelf-starter with a proactive, business development mindsetStrong communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationshipsHighly responsive with strong follow-up habitsDown-to-earth, team-oriented, and trustworthyWork Environment & ScheduleOffice-based role in Scottsdale, AZFlexible schedule within standard business hours (start times as early as 6:30 AM; no earlier than 6:00 AM)Minimal to no travel requiredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary ($90K–$110K)Annual performance-based bonus (paid during fiscal year-end in summer)Additional holiday bonus opportunityCasual, team-oriented office environment with strong employee tenure
