Laboratory Technician / Analyst

We are looking for a qualified Lab Technician / Analyst (degreed entry-level or better) to undertake a variety of laboratory testing procedures of technical nature. Under the supervision of the Laboratory Director, the Laboratory Analyst performs testing to measure potency, heavy metals, pesticides, residual solvents and terpene profiles. The lab analyst will be trained to use analytical instruments such as: HPLC-QQQ/DAD, ICP-MS, GC-MS/FID, qPCR and others. Pay raise available after 90 day probationary period.ResponsibilitiesReceive, label and analyze samples (medicinal cannabis and cannabis infused products)Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures, make observations and submit results for Lab Director reviewOrganize and store all chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructionsRecord all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibilityMaintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory suppliesEnsure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environmentJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour DOEBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):Do you have a technical degree with an emphasis in Chemistry or laboratory techniques?
