Role Description We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist for an on-site, full-time position located in Cibolo, TX. The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding information systems, implementing effective security measures, and protecting the organization's data from threats. Daily tasks include monitoring network security, analyzing potential vulnerabilities, performing security assessments, and assisting in the development of robust cybersecurity strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure security policies and practices are upheld is an essential requirement. Qualifications Expertise in Cybersecurity, Cyber Threat Monitoring, and Incident ResponseProficiency in Application Security and securing software development lifecycleStrong knowledge of Network Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNsExperience in Information Security protocols, compliance, and managing sensitive dataSolid understanding of risk analysis and security best practicesBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related fieldIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent are a plusExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay updated with emerging security trends
