Job Title: Nuclear Medicine TechnologistJob Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear MedicineJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)Guaranteed Hours: [Information not provided]Experience: Minimum 1.5 Years requiredLicense: IN or Compact LicenseCertifications: BLS, NMTCB; CT Certification, ARRT Advanced Certification preferredMust-Have Pending in-license acceptance First-time travelers accepted Experience in outpatient, inpatient settings required Ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as neededJob Description Work Mondays through Thursdays, 7 am to 5 pm, with no call or weekend requirements Engage in communication with inpatient floors and manage after-hour inpatient dose order for the next business day Perform various nuclear medicine procedures with a daily caseload of approximately 3 patients Frequently conduct Cardiac SPECT, HIDA, Gastric Emptying, and Bone Scans (Whole body/3 Phase) Occasionally perform Renal, V/Q, Breast Sentinel Node procedures Rarely involved in GI Bleed, Infection WBC, Bone Marrow, MUGA, Lymphatic, and Liver/Spleen procedures Ensure advanced skillset in IV starts and PACS; phlebotomy and EKGs are preferred The facility averages 55 patients monthly in the nuclear medicine department
