Geriatric Nursing Assistant- (PRN) Location: Frederick, MD, 21701 Employment Type: PRN Pay Rate: $12 - $16/hr; (Negotiable based on experience) Shifts Available: 8-hr Shifts 7:00 AM 3:00 PM 3:00 PM 11:00 PM 11:00 PM 7:00 AM Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to join our team on a PRN basis to provide quality care and support to elderly residents in a long-term care or assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to delivering person-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Take and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to the nursing staff Assist with mobility, turning, positioning, and transferring residents using proper techniques Maintain clean and safe environments for residents Support residents with social and recreational activities Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times Provide emotional support and companionship to residents Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification. Current CPR/First Aid certification. Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
