Associate Client Engagement Manager, Medical Communications

Job Description:Support day-to-day client communications and serve as a secondary point of contact for assigned projectsAssist with execution of publications & medical communications projects from initiation through completionSupport development of project briefs, timelines, scopes of work, and internal documentationCoordinate project activities across internal capability teams such as Scientific, Creative & EditorialTrack project timelines, deliverables, and milestones; escalate risks or delays as neededPrepare client status updates, meeting agendas, recaps, and action-item follow-upsSupport budget tracking, forecasting, and reconciliations under the direction of senior team membersManage entry, update, and maintenance of publication records within DatavisionAssist with scope change documentation and change orders as requiredSupport the medical/regulatory/legal (MLR) review process, including document submission systemsReview materials for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client feedback prior to submissionEnsure adherence to agency and client SOPs, compliance standards, and industry regulationsParticipate in client meetings, advisory boards, congresses, and speaker programs as appropriate with limited travel requiredMaintain organized project records and documentationPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree required (Communications, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field preferred)3-5 + years of experience in medical communications, medical education, pharma marketing, or related fieldsFoundational understanding of the life sciences industry and medical communications environmentStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesFamiliarity with medical publication processes and industry guidelinesWorking knowledge of publications management tools such as DatavisionExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality, accuracy, and complianceAbility to follow processes while learning when and how to escalate issuesStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)Familiarity with project management tools and document submission systems (e.g., Veeva PromoMats) preferredWillingness to learn and grow into increased client and financial responsibilityBenefits:Meaningful workTrue sense of community and funCelebration of employeesInternational recognition as a "Great Place to Work"
