Senior Software Systems Engineer

They are dedicated to redefining ingenuity through deep customer and domain knowledge, enabling the delivery of systems engineering and integration offerings for large, complex projects within the U.S. federal government.The Role Design, build, and maintain C#/.NET/AWS backend services for high-volume healthcare EDI transactions Parse, validate, and transform X12 EDI documents and troubleshoot complex transaction issues Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL stored procedures, including performance tuning and complex data transformations Work with XML object store data, querying, parsing, and manipulating structured XML within MSSQL Write clean, testable, well-documented code and actively participate in code reviews Contribute to shared platform libraries and services across multiple product initiativesWhat You'll Need Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development using C#/.NET technologies Proven track record on complex software projects and leading development initiatives Strong proficiency in C#/.NET ecosystem, backend application development, and design/integration patterns Hands-on AWS experience (serverless, messaging, storage, databases) preferred Strong SQL skills with MSSQL or similar relational databases, including database design and developmentWhat's On Offer Opportunity to work on critical healthcare data platforms with direct impact Collaborative agile environment with daily stand-ups and code reviews Focus on best software engineering practices and continuous improvement Competitive salary range: $80,001 - $120,000Apply via Haystack today!
