Location: Duncan, BC (Remote Logging Site – Fall River Area) Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shifts (1700–0700) Pay Rate: $20/hour Employment Type: Temporary Contract (Approx. 3 Months, with potential transfer opportunities) Overview Paladin Security is seeking reliable and self-sufficient Asset Protection Security Guards to join our team at a remote logging operation near Fall River on Vancouver Island. This unique opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in independent roles, enjoy working outdoors, and are comfortable in low-traffic, remote environments. You will play a critical role in protecting valuable equipment and ensuring site security overnight. Responsibilities Monitor and protect logging equipment and assets during overnight shifts Conduct regular mobile and foot patrols across the site Observe and report suspicious activity, trespassing, or safety concerns Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and vandalism Complete detailed daily and incident reports Communicate with supervisors and emergency services as needed Ensure the site remains secure at all times Valid BC Security Licence (Required) Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with clean driver's abstract (Required) Comfortable with extended travel to and from site (travel time paid) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be eligible to work in Canada Nice to Have OFA Level 1 (or higher) certification Previous experience in asset protection, industrial, or remote site environments Health Care Overtime Pay Growth Opportunities J-18808-Ljbffr
