Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong clinical skills, excellent chairside manner, and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and dental instruments before and after procedures
Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, cleanings, and procedures
Take photographs, digital radiographs, and intraoral scans
Record patient medical histories and update charts
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
Sterilize and maintain dental equipment per infection control standards
Schedule appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Requirements
Active Texas Registered Dental Assisting license
Nitrous, coronal polishing, sealant certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
3 years of dental assisting experience preferred
Proficiency with dental software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
