Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician – Commercial PropertyLocation: Clinical Reference LaboratoryJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday + On-Call RotationPosition OverviewWe are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to support operations at a large commercial property. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and thrives in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily inspections of restroom plumbing, including sinks, drains, and toiletsMonitor and maintain trash compactors; keep surrounding areas clean and organizedPatrol buildings and common areas, identify maintenance issues, and report findingsCoordinate repair needs and scheduling with managementCollect and dispose of trash using a utility cart throughout the propertyAssist with commercial plumbing repairs and replacementsPerform lighting maintenance, including LED retrofits and emergency/exit lighting replacementSupport light electrical work as neededAssist with HVAC-related tasks such as transporting and replacing filtersManage seasonal responsibilities, including:Setting out ice melt barrels in fallRemoving barrels in springMaintaining accurate inventory of ice melt suppliesWork ExpectationsCheck in daily with supervisor to review priorities and assignmentsMaintain a professional appearance and high standards of hygieneWork safely at all times and use appropriate PPEProvide excellent service and maintain positive interactions with tenants and clientsParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately one week per month)QualificationsExperience in commercial maintenance preferredStrong knowledge of:Plumbing systemsLighting systems and retrofitsBasic electrical systemsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong communication and organizational skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a flexible attitudeSelf-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detailCommitment to high-quality, efficient workWhat We’re Looking ForA dependable, high-functioning utility technicianSomeone who takes pride in their work and ownership of responsibilitiesA positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever neededFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environmentAnticipated Job Post End6/15/2026
