Operations Supervisor
Operation Supervisor Full-Time Rushville, IN Compensation DOE: Up to $75K + Overtime Meet your talent advisor Kelly Maxwell Experienced and hands-on Paint Operation Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Rushville, IN. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day paint line operations, ensure safe, efficient production while maintaining high-quality output. You will lead team members on the floor, coordinate manpower, minimize downtime, and support critical E-Coat processes in a fast-paced, union manufacturing environment. Operation Supervisor Responsibilities for Paint Applications:Promote and enforce a safety-first culture, ensuring all team members follow PPE and safety standardsOversee daily paint line operations to meet production schedules and shipping requirementsMonitor and maintain E-Coat processes, including dip tank conditions and paint bag filter changesMaintain proper chemical balance and oversight of the paint dip systemCoordinate manpower utilization, including break relief and utility personnel supportManage equipment downtime and coordinate repairs with the Maintenance DepartmentImplement and reinforce standardized work instructions, job cards, and safety proceduresManage overtime and staffing levels based on production demands and model requirementsCommunicate shift-to-shift updates, issues, and production changes with supervisors and leadershipAudit daily production numbers and quality concerns, reporting findings to QualityEngineering and Product ControlMaintain strong working relationships with union personnel in accordance with the collective bargaining agreementAddress employee performance and personnel issues in coordination with Human ResourcesPerform additional duties as assigned to support production needs Paint Line Supervisor Qualifications for Paint Applications:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage production priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated with a results-driven mindsetIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite Preferred Qualifications for Paint Applications:Experience in E-Coat, wet paint, powder coat, or industrial finishing environmentsPrior experience working in a unionized manufacturing facilityStrong understanding of chemical-based coating systems and dip tank operationsExperience coordinating with maintenance and quality teams in a production setting Please send your resume to Kelly Maxwell Discover Your Next Opportunity with Career Transitions - A Morales Group Company Find your dream job in accounting, finance, engineering, technology, HR, sales, marketing, and more.
