Python Lead Engineer

We are seeking an experienced python tech engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our company, have a significant impact on our success and join us in building this startup into a fully-funded company.Key Responsibilities:-Hands-on Work: Tech Leads often contribute to coding and development tasks, actively participating in the coding process alongside their team.-Technology Strategy: Defining and driving the technical direction of the company to align with business goals.-Team Leadership: Overseeing and managing the software development team, including backend engineers, DevOps, QA, and security roles.-Architectural Oversight: Ensuring that system architecture decisions are sound and scalable.-Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with product teams, design, and other departments to ensure cohesive development.-Technical Guidance: They provide technical direction and mentorship to team members, helping with code reviews, architecture discussions, and resolving technical challenges.-Team Collaboration: They act as a bridge between the development team and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment with project goals.Qualifications:-Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline is often required.-Strong background in backend technologies, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), and DevOps practices.-Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, ideally as a tech lead.-Proficient in Relevant Technologies: Expertise in programming languages and technologies relevant to the project (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).-Architecture and Design: Experience in software architecture and design principles to guide team decisions and ensure code quality.-Code Review and Best Practices: Ability to perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices within the team.-Testing and Debugging: Knowledge of testing methodologies and debugging techniques to help troubleshoot issues effectively.Desired:Familiarity with fundraising and investor relations is a plus.
