Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating arrangements as a host/hostess when needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge and cocktail recipes, to answer guest questions confidently Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Build strong guest relations through friendly interaction, attentive service, and personalized recommendations Support team members by collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment to deliver an outstanding dining experience Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred, but not required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a lively restaurant environment Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
