CDL Roll-Off Truck Driver

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery, pickup, and placement of roll-off containers at customer sites throughout Northeast Ohio. If you're a dependable driver who takes pride in their work and wants to join a team that values its people, we encourage you to apply.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate roll-off trucks to deliver, pick up, and transport 1040 yard containersPerform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needsSecure loads and operate hydraulic and auto-tarp systemsEnsure proper and safe placement of containers at residential, commercial, and industrial sitesMaintain compliance with all DOT and local safety regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch to stay on schedule and respond to route changesAccurately complete required documentation, such as logs, delivery records, and weight ticketsProvide professional, courteous service to customers and represent the company positively on-siteMaintain a clean, safe vehicle and follow all company safety protocolsNavigate assigned routes efficiently using GPS and dispatch instructionsOther duties as assigned.QualificationsValid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record and current DOT Medical CardA minimum of nine years of total driving experience and 2 years of experience with a CDL. Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety standards, and defensive driving practicesAbility to safely operate roll-off trucks and related equipment, including hook lifts, hydraulic systems, and automatic tarping systemsStrong attention to detail with the ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections accuratelyExcellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skillsComfortable using GPS, dispatching applications, and electronic logging systemsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 50-75 pounds and work in varying outdoor weather conditionsMust successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background checkEducationHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical RequirementsThe physical requirements listed below are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
