All of our clinics have been designed with both staff and clients in mind by providing safe and flexible therapy spaces along with spacious sensory gyms.About The RoleAt HANDS, our Behavior Technicians (BT’s) are professionals who have completed a minimum of a 40-hour intensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). All BT’s are continually supervised by an agency BCBA on a weekly basis and engage in behavior analytic professional development activities. BT’s are responsible for the direct implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the BCBA. The BT may also collect data and conduct certain types of assessments (e.g., stimulus preference assessments) under the supervision of a BCBA.What You'll DoProvide one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients in both home and center-based settingsRun skill acquisition programs with clients based on the principles of Applied Behavioral AnalysisComplete daily program writing and data collection before the end of each shiftWork with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement individualized treatment plansCollect and accurately record data on clients’ progressMaintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessionsMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of agePossess a minimum of a High School Diploma; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferredA minimum of one (1) years experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needsStrong preference for candidates who already possess the RBT certificationMust be caring, energetic, and detail-orientedDriver’s License and reliable transportationPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift/carry up to a maximum of 50 lbs and remain standing for up to 4 hoursMust be able to remain within close proximity to children at all times for safetyAbility to get up and down from the floor independentlyOther RequirementsSuccessful completion of criminal history background check and drug testingExcellent communication skillsAbility to work with a variety of individuals in different settings
