IREN’s vertically integrated platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and data centers in renewable-rich regions across the U.S. and Canada.IREN is seeking a motivated Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across construction operations. This role is responsible for maintaining HSE documentation, producing reports and presentations, developing policies, coordinating with departments, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing solutions to ensure a safe working environment.With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.Job RequirementsDegree or diploma in Health & Safety or related professional accreditation. Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in construction, utilities, electrical infrastructure, or industrial operations. Knowledge of legislation, industry best practices, and HSE systems implementation. Strong communication, influencing, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. Understanding of construction processes and risk mitigation, particularly electrical infrastructure. Experience with HSE management systems and data-driven decision-making. Ability to execute plans, drive accountability, and deliver innovative solutions. Proficiency with compliance and reporting software tools. Willingness to travel to regional and prospective U.S. data center sites.Other Important Requirements:Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.Must be comfortable working a rotational schedule, which includes day and night shifts as well as weekend work, based on project needs.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and optimize Health & Safety Management Systems. Promote a proactive culture of continuous improvement and change management. Conduct regular HSE risk reviews and assessments. Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and IREN policies. Support development of effective HSE programs across operations. Oversee HSE reporting, performance metrics, and agency reporting requirements. Lead investigations into HSE incidents and share learnings across operations. Compensation The expected base salary for this role starts at $120,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.
