Position OverviewAs the Front of House (FOH) Cashier, you are the face of Slice House. You play a vital role in creating a warm, efficient, and memorable guest experience. You'll manage orders, handle payments, and maintain the high standards that define Tony Gemignani's world-renowned restaurants. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Engagement: Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide knowledgeable menu guidance.Order Management: Accurately take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders using the POS system.Financial Accuracy: Process cash, card, and digital payments with precision.Menu Expertise: Answer questions regarding pizza styles, toppings, and daily specials.Coordination: Work closely with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.Fulfillment: Package orders for takeout and third-party delivery services (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.).Maintenance: Keep the front-of-house, beverage stations, and dining areas clean, organized, and stocked.Problem Solving: Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. QualificationsExperience: Previous customer service or cashier experience preferred (fast-casual experience is a plus).Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.Technical: Comfortable using POS systems (training will be provided).Traits: Reliable, punctual, and a dedicated team player.Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
