This role focuses on API integrations, event-driven architectures, and data normalization, ensuring reliable and efficient data flow across distributed systems.The platform also incorporates AI-assisted development workflows and AI-driven features, where engineers may contribute to prompt design, automation logic, and AI-enhanced processing layers.Key Responsibilities Design and build scalable integrations with external enterprise systemsDevelop event-driven architectures (webhooks, polling, streaming, API orchestration)Implement backend services using Node.js and cloud infrastructure (AWS)Process and normalize high-volume, real-time data flowsSupport AI-assisted product features, including:prompt design and optimizationAI-driven automation workflowsEnsure reliability of integration pipelines in production environmentsHandle API versioning, schema changes, rate limits, and backward compatibilityBuild and maintain testing pipelines (unit, integration, staging)Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teamsTroubleshoot complex cross-system integration issuesMaintain technical documentation of integrations and workflowsRequirements5–7+ years as a Backend / Integrations EngineerStrong experience with Node.js or similar backend stacksExperience with REST APIs, webhooks, and distributed systemsExperience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.)Understanding of prompt engineering basicsExperience with event-driven architectureExperience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Strong debugging and system troubleshooting skillsExperience delivering features end-to-end (design → production)Comfortable working in complex distributed environmentsStrong communication skills across technical and non-technical teamsNice to HaveExperience with enterprise integrations (ITSM, monitoring, collaboration tools)Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, API keys)Knowledge of data formats (JSON, XML)
