Everyone at Roswell is always pushing the boundaries of the industry to make beautiful and functional products that make boating and watersports a little more enjoyable each year.Job Summary / ObjectiveSmooths surface imperfections and prepares marine tower products for painting by performing the duties listed below.Essential Job Functions And DutiesUses a grinder to smooth weld beads and blend to surrounding surfaces.Uses sanding equipment to smooth any surface imperfectionsWorks under direct supervision on duties and tasks that are standardized, selecting from written instructions, and established procedures.Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in proper working order.Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, where required, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect paint department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, etc.Other duties may be assigned.Required CompetenciesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily.
