Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence and other applicable frameworks. Deliver instruction in one or more disciplines, such as Biology, Chemistry, or Physical Science. Assess and monitor student progress, administer exams, maintain grade records, and provide individualized support as needed. Create a positive learning environment and implement classroom management strategies. Collaborate with colleagues, participate in faculty meetings, engage in professional development, and communicate with students, parents, and administrators regarding academic progress and classroom behavior. Maintain compliance with school policies and regulations.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.Valid Georgia teaching certification in Science for Grades 9-12 or eligibility to obtain one.
