Office Administrator and Admissions Coordinator
The Geneva School is seeking a warm, organized, and highly capable Office Administrator & Admissions Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our families, students, visitors, and prospective families. This role is essential to the school's daily life and culture and helps ensure that the front office reflects the mission and values of a classical Christian education.The ideal candidate is gracious, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and care. This individual should be able to take projects from concept to execution with minimal oversight while creating a welcoming and efficient office environment.Position DetailsFull-time positionHours: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch breakSalary range: $60,000–$65,000, depending on experienceIncludes school holidays and scheduled breaks consistent with the school calendarPrimary ResponsibilitiesFront Office & CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and visitorsMaintain a friendly, welcoming, and professional front office environmentRespond promptly to phone calls and emailsCoordinate tours and communication with prospective familiesPrepare and distribute newsletters, reminders, and school communicationsAssist with scheduling speaking engagements and school meetingsAdmissions & EnrollmentOversee admissions and enrollment processes through Blackbaud Maintain accurate and secure student filesCoordinate tuition assistance applicationsSupport new family onboarding and orientationOffice Administration & Human ResourcesPrepare new hire packets and onboarding paperworkMaintain personnel and filing systemsCoordinate memberships, records, report cards, and school documentationAssist with handbook updates and HR benefits coordinationKeep the office organized and operationalDevelopment & Community EventsAssist with fundraising campaigns and donor communicationsCoordinate school events including Game Day, Jog A Thon, Grandparents Day, teacher appreciation events, and parent coffeesSupport room parents and volunteer coordinationHelp prepare marketing materials and website updatesQualificationsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesProfessional, gracious, and service-oriented demeanorAbility to work independently and follow through on projects with minimal oversightProficiency with technology platforms and office systemsAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismPrior school office or administrative experience preferredCommitment to the mission and philosophy of classical Christian educationApplicants must be members or regular attenders of a Christian churchAbout The Geneva SchoolThe Geneva School is a classical Christian school committed to cultivating wisdom, virtue, and joyful learning through a Christ-centered education grounded in truth, goodness, and beauty.
