This is a great opportunity for someone early in their purchasing career to gain hands-on experience, build supplier relationships, and contribute to cost savings and operational efficiency.Why This Role?Competitive hourly rate with full benefits packageHybrid flexibility with structured scheduleStrong team environment with cross-functional collaborationOpportunity to grow within supply chain and procurementNo travel or weekend work requiredWhat You'll DoProcurement & PurchasingExecute purchasing of indirect materials and services aligned with company supply chain strategyCreate and manage purchase orders within ERP systems (Epicor and others)Expedite orders as needed to ensure timely delivery and minimize disruptionsSupplier & Internal CoordinationCommunicate with internal teams regarding delivery timelines, pricing, and discrepanciesPartner with suppliers to negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedulesMaintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersOperations & Process SupportEnsure accurate documentation of purchasing activities across systems and recordsAssist in resolving invoice discrepancies, packing slip issues, and order variancesSupport working capital goals, on-time delivery performance, and cost savings initiativesCollaborate with Strategic/Commodity teams to drive best value from the supply baseShare and implement best practices across supply chain teams and business unitsRequired / Preferred Qualifications1-2 years of purchasing or procurement experience preferredBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsExperience in a manufacturing or project-based environment is a plusFamiliarity with Epicor or other ERP systems preferredExperience with indirect/MRO purchasing is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEOE, including Disability/Veterans.How to Apply for This Job:To apply for this position, please follow these steps: Apply for this job with your current resume.
