About the job Installer InstallerJob SummaryThe Installer is responsible for physical installation of telecom infrastructure, including racks, cabling, power systems, and network equipment within central offices and remote facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall relay racks, cabinets, fuse panels, and superstructureRun, terminate, and label copper and fiber cabling between equipmentInstall and power telecom equipment (e.g., chassis, line cards)Perform node installations and cabling per engineering designAssist with DC power systems including rectifiers and batteriesSupport equipment turn-up and commissioning activitiesMaintain installation standards, labeling, and documentationRequired Skills & QualificationsExperience with telecom equipment installation and rack-and-stack workKnowledge of DC power systems and cabling standardsAbility to read engineering drawings and installation plansFamiliarity with structured cabling and testing proceduresStrong attention to detail and safety complianceWork EnvironmentCentral offices and remote sitesPhysically demanding (lifting, cabling, rack installation)Requires own tools and equipment
