You will own core areas of a Next.js application—from search and scheduling to provider profiles and checkout—with a strong focus on UI/UX and patient experience. We are targeting top ~5% frontend talent; startup experience is a strong plus.What You’ll Do:Build and scale core frontend features across a consumer healthcare platformOwn major surfaces of a Next.js app, including search, booking, and checkout flowsPartner closely with product, design, and backend to ship polished, user-centric experiencesPrioritize performance, usability, and clean, maintainable codeWhat We Want:3+ years as a frontend engineer, ideally in fast-paced or startup environmentsProven ability to operate in ambiguous, high-growth settingsDeep expertise in React and TypeScript, with a sharp eye for UI/UX detailNext.js in production; familiarity with REST APIs, Ruby on Rails, and Postgres preferredTechnical degree, ideally Computer ScienceStrong communication—able to explain technical choices clearly to technical and non-technical partnersEntrepreneurial mindset: thinks beyond code about product, users, and go-to-marketPassion for the mission and excitement about improving access to healthcare (prior healthcare experience not required)Pluses:Prior startup or 0→1 product experienceHealthcare or marketplace consumer product experienceWork authorization:U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents (green card holders) only.
