It requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and techniques. The role is part of a sex offender intervention team. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of assigned offenders. Duties consist of completing screenings and assessments. Conducting group and sex offender interventions as required by individual assessments using evidence-based strategies is essential. Documentation of inmate encounters and contacts is required in the electronic health record. Writing reports and maintaining necessary documentation to comply with regulatory requirements is expected. Transfer and discharge summaries must be completed. Consultation with other staff regarding caseloads and inmate service requirements is necessary. Attendance at sex offender program supervision meetings is required.
