Occupational Therapist Location: Murrieta, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,737 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 20 Weeks Start Date: 5/25/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Occupational Therapy Pediatrics Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 18:30 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of experience required License: California Occupational Therapy License required or eligible to obtain Certifications: BLS, NBCOT Must-Have: - Brief statement on experience in pediatric feeding required at time of submission - Experience in assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with feeding/eating difficulties - Experience with patients aged 18 months and older required; ages 8 months and older preferred Description: This position is for an occupational therapist with experience in the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with feeding and eating difficulties. It involves the possibility of providing some general pediatric developmental occupational therapy coverage as well. Common diagnoses include Pediatric Feeding Disorder, Oral Aversion, Feeding Difficulties, Dysphagia, ARFID, Failure to Thrive, Autism, Developmental Delay, Motor Delay, Fine Motor Delay, Sensory Processing Difficulties, and varied genetic and developmental diagnoses. Travelers may be required to work two out of three holidays. The candidate must have the ability to independently evaluate and treat a full caseload of patients with the primary reason for referral being pediatric feeding disorder. Experience with swallowing disorders is preferred. Children’s hospital experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to obtain a California license if not already licensed in that state. The ability to assess and treat patients effectively is a critical component of this role. A Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required, or a Bachelor’s degree if graduated before 2004. The position may require participation in general pediatric developmental occupational therapy as needed. The focus on pediatric feeding disorders necessitates a compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
