This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping products accurately and efficiently, handling over $2M in monthly inventory shipments. We are looking for a reliable, long-term candidate who thrives in a blue-collar shop setting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, pack, and ship orders using UPS, FedEx, and other carriersBuild custom shipping crates using hand tools and power tools (saws, hammers, etc.)Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials and load shipmentsUse ERP systems and proprietary shipping/logistics software to process orders, print labels, and track shipmentsVerify orders for accuracy and complete required shipping documentationStage and organize outgoing shipments to meet daily deadlinesCoordinate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams on shipment readinessMaintain accurate shipping logs and inventory records in the systemMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaRequirementsProven experience in a high-volume shipping/receiving environmentExperience handling large-scale inventory ($2M+/month preferred)Hands-on experience with:UPS and FedEx shipping systemsERP systems and/or proprietary warehouse/shipping systemsStand-up forklift operationCrate building using hand and power toolsAbility to read work orders and follow shipping instructions accuratelyStrong attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift, move, and handle materials safelyQualificationsManufacturing or industrial environment experience preferredBasic computer skills with experience navigating multiple systemsStrong work ethic, reliability, and team-first mindsetPre-Employment RequirementsMust pass a thorough background checkMust pass a pre-employment physicalWhat We’re Looking ForLong-term candidates committed to stability and growthStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityComfortable working in a hands-on, blue-collar shop environment
