OverviewBRMi is seeking a Project ManagerBenefits Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employer-Paid Life Insurance Employer-Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) that includes Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, and 11 Paid Holidays Educational AssistanceSalary: 100k-125k**Hybrid in Vienna, VA**Click here to learn about BRMi's culture.Click here to see BRMi’s Glassdoor reviewsResponsibilitiesUnderstand and analyze portfolio needs to create and implement portfolio maturity plansOversee framework to govern the intake, prioritization and decisioning of investments to maximize value flowOversee the portfolio Kanban and ensure stop/pivot/persevere portfolio governance decisions are made to ensure prioritized value is deliveredEngage in active Portfolio Management for budget, scope and executionMonitor Lean Budgeting guardrails to govern the funding of strategic workEnsure portfolio roadmaps for planned work are created and maintainedOversee portfolio reporting of metrics, objectives & key results, advocating for the inclusion of value metricsWork closely with executive stakeholders and provide key information to support decision making and align prioritization of projects with strategic objectives.Serve as an Agile Coach to identify gaps in existing lean portfolio management; advocate for and implement improvementsCoordinate adjustments to the portfolio as necessary when strategic demands necessitate a change in delivery and/or scope of workServe as primary point of contact to strategic goal owners and enterprise initiative owners for initiatives and related dependencies and risksBuild and maintain relationships with lines of business, team members, management, key stakeholders and/or external contacts (e.g., vendors, etc.)Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experiencePrior consulting experienceAdvanced knowledge of Scaled Agile (SAFe) and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)Advanced knowledge of project management best practices, including change management, risk management, dependency management, executive reporting, and aggregation of project dataAdvanced skills to track and monitor Initiative, program and project progress, identify project and process gaps, recommend controls and communicate progress to business leadersSignificant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goalsExtensive experience in working with all levels of executive leadership, management, stakeholders, vendorsAdvanced consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation and facilitation skills to gain consensus and ensure delivery of initiativesSignificant experience in creating and delivering presentations to virtual and in person teamsAdvanced thought leadership, critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skillsExperience with launching value streams and enterprise level Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) BRMi will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.**This is a W2 opportunity only**EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and commitment at all levels.
