Job Title: Android DeveloperLocation: Remote Role USACandidates also can apply for these countries: Argentina / Canada / Brazil (Remote role)Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy Android applications using modern Android technologies.Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, architects, and backend developers to deliver scalable mobile solutions.Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance code following Android development best practices.Implement secure coding standards and ensure compliance with financial industry regulations.Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience.Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud-based services.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.Work within Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of professional Android development experience.Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components.Hands-on experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and design patterns.Experience with Jetpack Compose and traditional Android UI development.Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON data handling.Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.Knowledge of asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow.Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in banking, financial services, or fintech environments.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.Knowledge of mobile security best practices, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).Understanding of accessibility and performance optimization techniques.Exposure to GraphQL and modern API integration patterns.Technical SkillsLanguages: Kotlin, JavaFrameworks/Libraries: Android Jetpack, Compose, Retrofit, Room, Hilt/DaggerArchitecture: MVVM, Clean Architecture, Repository PatternTesting: JUnit, Mockito, EspressoTools: Android Studio, Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, JiraAPIs: RESTful Services, JSONSoft SkillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment.Commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
