DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will leverage their technical background to help deliver automation and big data analytics for the IC community. You will be trained in DevOps and work alongside a collaborative team of Software Developers, Systems Development Engineers, Network Engineers, and Data Engineers to develop unique software that enables customer networks to safely operate at scale.ResponsibilitiesDeploy and provision AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM roles, and VPC configurations to support scalable architectureBuild, maintain, and troubleshoot continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using GitLab and GitHubRun routine vulnerability scans, apply patches, and update cloud and physical infrastructures to ensure security complianceDesign and maintain Kubernetes and EKS clusters to ensure high availability and productivity for the development teamCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure complete and functional systems that meet all requirementsRecommend, and when approved, implement process and policy improvements RequirementsTS/SCI FSP Clearance10+ years' experience with DevOps, front end development or full stack developmentExperience with Bash scriptingExperience working within AWS (Amazon Web Services) environmentsExperience working with Linux administration and systems designExperience creating CI/CD pipelinesExperience with network documentation including security compliance, configuration management, and patching About Us For more than 20 years, NewGen Technologies has solved our clients' toughest IT challenges with integrity, security, and outstanding service by delivering both technology and talent.
