Job Title: Python Developer with Containers (GenAI)Location: Bryant Park, New York, NY 10038Duration: 12–18 MonthsEmployment Type: W2 OnlyPositions Available:Mid/Senior Level Python DeveloperLead Python DeveloperKey Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, build, test, and deploy platforms that meet requirements.Define and enforce standards and best practices for platform management.Evaluate third-party products to ensure scalability, resiliency, and performance.Automate the setup, installation, verification, monitoring, and provisioning processes for new and existing platforms (Lab, SDLC).Maintain a centralized, version-controlled inventory of all environments and their configurations.Plan and allocate environments to teams based on their needs and project lifecycles.Analyze data to proactively identify and resolve environment-related issues.Work with project teams to manage costs and improve efficiency.Partner with Production Support and Engineering to deploy and support applications.Required Skills:Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end environments, from proof-of-concept to production.Deep understanding of hardware, software, network, data, and application configuration.Expertise in DevOps processes and CI/CD tooling (Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible), orchestration, and automation.Proficiency in building multi-tier Python-based web applications using microservices, serverless, or loosely coupled architectures.Experience with a mix of on-premises and cloud-based, containerized deployment models (Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift).Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational (SQL Server/Oracle) databases, as well as other object, vector, and file stores.Proficiency in Unix scripting, SQL, and work scheduling tools.Ability to set up infrastructure monitoring and reporting for GPU/CPU, memory consumption, inference latency, and model performance.Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization techniques to maximize performance, resource utilization, and throughput while minimizing latency.Experience with load balancing, high availability, and backup and recovery strategies.Non-Technical Skills:Excellent communication skills, able to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences (business stakeholders, developers, support teams).Meticulous and highly organized, with attention to detail.Adaptable to shifting priorities and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.For the lead role, I am skilled at delegating, mentoring, and setting expectations for team members.Strong critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.Experience Desired:Familiarity with AI, deep learning, modeling techniques, and the Generative AI application stack.Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow and PyTorch).Experience with GPU cluster management (CUDA/Kubernetes), auto-scaling, and scheduling (Triton Inference Server).Qualifications:7–10 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the financial industry.Higher education in an IT field or equivalent relevant work experience.
