Security GuardLocation: College StationPosition SummaryThe Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for property, employees, and visitors. This role requires schedule flexibility, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor premises to ensure safety and security of property and individualsFollow established security procedures and recommend improvements when appropriateRespond to incidents and document all violations or unusual activity in written reportsProvide professional interaction with employees, visitors, and clientsMaintain a visible and alert presence at assigned postsComplete additional duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency preferred)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to remain alert and attentive throughout shiftAbility to stand for extended periods and greet individuals professionallyClean driving record requiredAbility to pass background check and drug screeningPreferred QualificationsPrior security guard experienceCurrent Guard CardWork Schedule & AvailabilityMust be available for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysFlexible schedule required, including on-call and fill-in shiftsAbility to cover shifts on short notice as neededWork EnvironmentMay require extended standing and outdoor/indoor post coverage
