Security Guard- Gradient

Security Guard Location: College Station Position Summary The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for property, employees, and visitors. This role requires schedule flexibility, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed. Key Responsibilities Monitor premises to ensure safety and security of property and individuals Follow established security procedures and recommend improvements when appropriate Respond to incidents and document all violations or unusual activity in written reports Provide professional interaction with employees, visitors, and clients Maintain a visible and alert presence at assigned posts Complete additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout shift Ability to stand for extended periods and greet individuals professionally Clean driving record required Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications Prior security guard experience Current Guard Card Work Schedule & Availability Must be available for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Flexible schedule required, including on-call and fill-in shifts Ability to cover shifts on short notice as needed Work Environment May require extended standing and outdoor/indoor post coverage
