P&C Substation Engineer
Electrical Project Engineer – Key ResponsibilitiesServe as Technical Specialist or Project Engineer for high-voltage substation projects, providing engineering coordination, technical guidance, and subject matter expertise.Support detailed engineering and EPC substation projects up to 765 kV.Develop protection and control design deliverables, including:Protective relay schemesOne-line and three-line diagramsAC/DC schematicsRelay panel layouts and wiringEquipment interconnection drawingsDevelop P&C substation design packages, including:Yard layout plansGrounding and lightning protection systemsControl building layoutsAuxiliary AC/DC power systemsPerform and/or oversee quality reviews of substation design deliverables to ensure compliance with client standards, utility requirements, and industry codes.Prepare electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for procurement and construction activities.Coordinate engineering activities with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.Support proposal development, technical presentations, and business development initiatives.Manage project schedules, engineering budgets, and resource planning.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.Participate in design reviews, construction coordination, commissioning support, and field verification activities.Travel to client sites, vendor facilities, and project locations as required.
