Position: Snowflake Data ArchitectLocation: Remote (Occasional travel to Salisbury, Maryland)Hire Type: ContractPrimary Skill - Dataiku, data architecture (ECC to S/4HANA alignment) Strong SQL Solution and pipeline architecture for the Snowflake foundation and the Dataiku transformation layerDimensional modelling strategy across the ~15 reusable data products, and metadata-driven design of transformation servicesHistorical data architecture (ECC to S/4HANA alignment)Technical governance, design reviews, standards enforcement and code-review governance for the engineering squadSupport and mentoring to delivery squads, and Perdue stakeholder discussionsStrong experience with Snowflake architecture and Dataiku DSS platform design, across data warehousing and modern data platform patternsDesign of scalable facts, dimensions and reusable domain-aligned data products, and of Dataiku transformation flows across the Prepared and Consumed layers on SnowflakeDefine data models, transformation patterns, dataset standards and semantic structures; establish automation frameworks, reusable components and AI-assisted (Copilot) engineering patternsStrong SQL and Python; performance tuning, RBAC, cost optimization, scheduling and orchestrationUnderstanding of SAP BW, Essbase and reporting transformation concepts.
