We are seeking a highly motivated Senior or Staff Financial Analyst to support pricing strategy, commercial analytics, and deal execution across the Datacenter product portfolio.The ideal candidate brings strong financial analysis experience, familiarity with the AI Datacenter and/or semiconductor/hardware ecosystem, and the ability to collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization. This role contributes to pipeline management, pricing frameworks, supports deal analytics, and drives scalable reporting, partnering closely with Product Management, Business Development, Sales Operations, Revenue Accounting, and FP&A.This high‑visibility role regularly contributes insights and recommendations used by senior leadership, supporting profitable growth while ensuring strong operational rigor and compliance.Please note this role will require 5 days per week onsite in our San Diego office*Key ResponsibilitiesPricing Strategy & GovernanceSupport the development and maintenance of pricing frameworks, discount guardrails, and approval matrices to ensure consistent, compliant deal execution.Support in the deal desk process, helping to standardize approval workflows and maintain SOX‑compliant documentation.Manage price list governance, SKU/portfolio pricing setups and updates, and integration with financial systems.Support management and governance of sales pipeline and efforts to ensure data quality and consistency across pipeline.Deal Support & Commercial AnalyticsProvide financial modeling and business analysis (e.g., AI‑perf/TCO comparisons, pricing sensitivity analyses, ASP/margin impact analyses, rebate structures).Build and maintain detailed deal models incorporating COGS, volume/mix, incentives, and key contractual terms.Prepare executive‑ready insights balancing growth, share, and profitability objectives.Incentive & Rebate SupportSupport incentive/rebate tracking and system updates; ensure accurate documentation and timely capture of deal terms in compliance with SOX.Partner with Revenue Accounting to understand ASC 606 implications and support accurate accruals and revenue recognition.Forecasting & Performance ManagementContribute to business unit forecasting of revenue, ASP, and gross margin by customer, region, and product line.Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analyses and explain pricing‑related drivers, risks, and opportunities.Provide data‑driven insights into pricing performance and trends.Data, Systems & ReportingUtilize TM1, Salesforce, Tableau, Oracle, and Excel to build and maintain dashboards and standardized reports for key pricing KPIs (ASP trends, price realization, incentive economics, win/loss analysis).Support efforts to improve data quality and consistency across pricing and incentive systems.Stakeholder CollaborationBuild strong working relationships with Product Management, Business Development, Sales Operations, Revenue Accounting, Legal, FP&A, and Program Management.Contribute to recurring business rhythms such as pricing reviews, deal desk discussions, and cross‑functional working sessions.May mentor junior analysts or support cross‑functional initiatives.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.Senior: 1+ year interacting with senior leadership; 1+ year in a matrixed organization; 1+ year in a leadership or mentorship capacity.Staff: 2+ years interacting with senior leadership; 2+ years in a matrixed organization; 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity.Experience in pricing, incentives/rebates, commercial finance, or product‑level financial support (semiconductor, hardware or AI Datacenter preferred).Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau, Oracle/ERP, and TM1 (or similar EPM tools).Familiarity with pricing tools (Salesforce CPQ, Model N, PROS, Vendavo) and ASC 606 implications for incentives.Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
